Core Architecture
Hangar DAO’s proposed technical infrastructure combines modular design principles with blockchain and IoT technologies to create a robust and scalable smart home ecosystem.
Central Hub, Sentrix:
The hub serves as the communication bridge between local smart home modules and the blockchain.
It manages data flow, processes user commands, and ensures secure interactions between devices.
Pods:
Independent devices designed for specific home automation or security tasks.
Modules communicate with the hub over a secure Wi-Fi network and are interoperable with other modules in the ecosystem.
Open communication standards to ensure compatibility between modules from different architects.
Blockchain Integration:
Solana blockchain is used for secure data logging, command transmission, and decentralized decision-making.
Blockchain ensures transparency and tamper-proof records of all transactions and interactions.
A decentralized storage solution in the Solana ecosystem will be used for securely storing system logs and data backups.

Role of the Central Hub
Sentrix is the core of the Hangar DAO ecosystem portfolio, facilitating seamless integration and communication for all Pods by providing:
Wi-Fi-Based Connectivity:
Pods communicate with the hub through a secure local Wi-Fi network, enabling fast and reliable data exchange.
This approach simplifies Pod design by eliminating the need for direct blockchain integration.
Blockchain Gateway:
Sentrix serves as the sole interface with the Solana blockchain, processing user commands and relaying them to the appropriate modules.
Data collected from Pods is aggregated by the hub and transmitted back to users securely via blockchain.
Module Interoperability:
Sentrix ensures compatibility between Pods, even if they are designed by different contributors, through standardized communication protocols and data concentration within the hub.
